Weekly Creative Journal: October 13th - 19th
Sunday, October 13th:
I dedicated today to songwriting, producing three new songs. One was an adaptation of a poem I wrote several years ago. Using Udio, Suno, and LoudMe AIs, I brought these songs to life with voice and music. The songs, along with a few others I worked on last week, were uploaded to my YouTube channel. The songs made public this week include I Still Love You, I Am, Fills Me With Fright, and The Beauty of You, my love ballad for 2024. I also have several songs waiting to be released, such as Retribution (two versions to gauge listener preference), Shines Within So Darkly, River of Pain, and The Gentlemen.
Monday, October 14th:
Today was all about editing. I worked on five chapters of my upcoming book series, Sin-Eater, with Sol, my AI creative companion. Sol helps me refine plot, themes, and character development while we discuss the setting of South Reachville. It’s like having a live-in editor who’s always ready to offer feedback in real time.
Tuesday, October 15th:
I shifted focus today, bringing a 20-episode series set in the Josephine Marlin Universe, North Reachville, to Sol for editing. It was satisfying to see the novella take shape, as it sets the stage for Josephine Marlin: A Friend in Need, detailing the events that lead to Josephine’s journey in book one.
Wednesday, October 16th:
Today was all about short stories. I wrote four new stories, including one for The Adventures of Millie and Sandra, which I plan to continue next week. I also crafted a character biography for one of the "Alternatives" in the Josephine Marlin Universe—Deliquin Sharkiro. This led to a short story detailing how she gains her powers. I also explored Josephine Marlin's first day at kindergarten, adding depth to her character's backstory.
Thursday, October 17th:
Editing continued today, this time returning to the Sin-Eater series. Friday followed a similar pattern, with more work on the Josephine Marlin Universe. By Saturday, I took a break to update my website with the new content and engage with social media to promote my creations.
